One of my greatest joys

is witnessing a person’s eyes begin to open to how much strength, courage, and resilience they actually have to exist in this world as who they truly are.

Welcome,
I am currently accepting new clients for therapy, coaching, and professional consultation.

I am a trauma-informed Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I trained and worked as a psychotherapist in Toronto, Canada, from 2008 to 2016. Through this experience, I gained particular interest and insight for working with people who are braving new life transitions, healing from past and/or recent traumas, and with people whose identities, communities, and cultures have been systematically excluded, oppressed, and targeted with discrimination and violence. These are terrifying times—I’m here to hold it all with you. I believe that healing and growth happens with people who ask “what happened to you?” not “what’s wrong with you?” and in relationships that are both affirming and honest; in the moments where I see what you see, I will absolutely tell you. Simply put—I won’t pretend I don’t see the relational abuse and/or systemic oppression you are experiencing and/or witnessing in order to present as “neutral.”

I offer individual and couples counseling services to adults for a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness & isolation, relationship issues, conflict & communication, trauma, sexual orientation, gender identity, body image, life transitions, systemic oppression, and recovery from toxic relationships, domestic violence, and coercive control.

I work from within anti-oppressive and anti-racist frameworks and with an intersectional feminist and LGBTQIA2+ affirmative lens. I welcome you to explore my website to learn more about my experience and my approach to psychotherapy.

Initial phone consultations with me are complimentary.  These conversations usually last about 45 minutes.
